Teeth Whitening Products

To truly whiten your teeth, you should consider a professional level teeth whitening product.  The really good teeth whitening products are relatively expensive to get into, but not as expensive as your dentist would be.  Once you have the base tooth whitening product however, refills are much less expensive.

Many people have achieved a significant amount of success by using over the counter teeth whitening products.  You still need to know what to look for however, or you could invest a lot of your hard earned money in a system that is not worth the money paid to label the box.

A good tooth whitening product will allow you to create a custom cast of your teeth which will then be used to create a tray for your unique mouth.  The trays are used to hold the teeth whitening gel against your teeth.

Teeth Whitening Products Should not be a "One-Size-Fits-All" Solutions

There are teeth whitening products which use a foam type tray to hold the gel against your teeth.  The only problem with these systems is that they were made to fit everyone’s mouths.  As I’m sure you can see, this is a flawed approach.  Everyone has a different mouth shape with different shaped gum lines and teeth.  So in order to achieve even distribution with the gel, you should have trays cast for your individual mouth.

Once you’ve identified a source that will provide you with custom trays, you will want to make sure that the system that you choose has a 16% to 22% Carbamide Peroxide gel.  This is the best gel you can buy and is similar (if not the same) as the stuff the dentist uses and charges you $500 for.  You should be able to get a complete teeth whitening system (just like the dentist uses including the custom trays made specifically for your mouth) for under $150.  Dentists typically charge $500 or more for this service.

$150 still seems like a lot of money doesn’t it?  Well, consider that the dentist will typically treat you once, and then when your stains come back, you’ll have to shell out another $500.  With these custom do it yourself teeth whitening products, you will be able to whiten your teeth whenever you need to, and it won’t cost you anymore until you run out of the gel.

When you run out of the gel, you simply buy a refill tube for around $35 more and you’re ready to take off any new stains that may have appeared.

Most importantly, you should see significant improvements in less than a week.

One of the best systems that we have reviewed is available at purewhitesmiles.com and meets all of the requirements I’ve outlined here.  Check out their complete Professional Teeth Whitening Product Kit with Custom Lab-Created Trays.

This type of teeth whitening product is exactly the type of system you’ve been looking for if you want to bring back the pearly white of your smile.  Take a few minutes and look at this teeth whitening products comparison chart to see what you can expect from the different systems.

These types of teeth whitening products really have no real side effects.  The only side effect that has ever been noticed are some minor tooth sensitivity to hot and cold.  Reports indicate that most people don’t even experience that minor side effect.  Teeth whitening products are safe and one of the most effective means for whitening teeth.
